Kingscote Barn Wedding Photography – Victoria & Ben

This was quite simply a beautiful wedding; two people completely and utterly in love with each other celebrating their day with a wonderful set of family and friends.

I met up with Victoria and the girls in the morning at Wills Cottage which is a stones throw away from Kingscote Barn.  As you will see from the first photo, it was a gorgeous summers day.  No nerves, just wall to wall smiles as everybody prepared themselves for the short trip to the barn.

When I arrived at Kingscote, Ben was looking a teeny bit more nervous, but that was nervous excitement more than anything else.  As soon as Victoria appeared at the doorway with her mum Ben’s beaming smile was there for everyone to see…and to be honest his grin was present for the rest of the day!

The perfect summery weather continued throughout the day and into the evening.  I could see an amazing sunset forming over the cornfields so I grabbed the newlyweds, bundled them into my car and headed along the path to get our prime photo spot….and I’m glad we did!

“We received the photos whilst in Sri Lanka and waited until we were in the Maldives to view them. We cosied up just like you recommended with a bottle of wine. We enjoyed every second, you have captured our day perfectly. We laughed, we cried and we only stopped when we were interrupted by the hotel staff who brought us a surprise gift of champagne and flowers! It was perfect!

How you managed to capture some of those photos we will never know. You even captured our first proper kiss on the dance floor even though we were hiding behind our hands!! It’s probably our favourite shot.

We visited the family this weekend and everyone loves the photos, we are so happy we chose you; it’s going to be so hard to choose which photos we want up in the house, we have already been out buying frames!
