“We asked Rob to be our photographer for our wedding and throughout the entire process we couldn’t have asked for any more from him, he was brilliant.

Ahead of the big day, he checked in to understand more about what sort of photos we’d like, and then on the day Rob was a star. He didn’t create any stress or get in the way, he was great fun to have around on the day and the end result has been incredible too. We’ve got over 800 photos that perfectly capture our day and have given us some really authentic and great memories.

I was worried a photographer would make me uncomfortable by asking me (as the groom) to do all sorts of cringey poses but that’s absolutely not the case with Rob. “Hi Rob, Where do I start? First things first, we couldn’t quite believe that we had an email from you already. You’ve managed to get it all to us so much quicker than we anticipated which we are so grateful for.

Next thing. That slideshow! It’s bloody perfect. I’ve now lost count of how many times I’ve watched it and how many times I have cried. You also did something without asking and without prompting which means the world to me and our family. Putting that photo right at the end is everything. Thank you for that. Any conversation. Any text message. I just put the link in even if it’s just DPD telling me when my delivery is due! It’s the perfect way of letting people see the day without having to get them to sit down through all 800+(!) photos. Beth was one of the first people I sent it across to and she rang me multiple times immediately after watching it. The actual photos. All of them. Every single one. Even the ones of us pulling stupid faces. Or my five chins when I’m laughing too hard. They are ALL more than we could have ever imagined. They capture the day perfectly and tell it exactly how it was. So many we had no idea you took and that’s exactly what we wanted. And yet you still felt like a part of our day. You fitted in. You were one of us. And you made us laugh and enjoy having those creepy close up shots.

I’m trying to put into words how impressed and pleased we are with everything you did. But to be honest my words don’t do the photos or you justice. You are amazing. You’re made for it.

I have to apologise for not putting this together or sending it sooner but we hadn’t had the chance to go through all of them until last night. “As soon as we got back from our weekend away, we arranged a big viewing gathering with our family. We spent almost four hours continuously viewing all of the photos and the highlights video. “Rob photographed our bonfire night wedding and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the photos. Our family and friends love them too and we have had so many compliments on how beautiful, stunning, wonderful and amazing the photos are, but also how natural and relaxed we look in them.

From the outset Rob was extremely professional and always very helpful, making suggestions and answering any questions we had along the way extremely promptly, and often suggesting things we hadn’t even though of. “What can we say about Rob? Nothing but positive words as he photographed our wedding at Caswell House. He knew the venue so well which made a huge difference, coordinating with all the staff and knowing all the best spots for photos.

As someone who does not enjoy getting their photo taken, he made us both feel at ease and comfortable, making the whole process so simple. From start to finish, it was easy with Rob. When we asked questions, he replied quickly; when we saw him in person, he was delightful and eased any concerns we had.

Throughout the day he was so invisible a lot of our guests commented that they didn’t even realise he was taking candid pictures! He got involved and stepped back when needed. He was available for guests to grab throughout and certainly did not rush off. He was never pushy and worked with us in every decision.

One thing to highlight is Rob’s turnaround time was super quick! Only a few weeks and not several months like we were quoted from other photographers which was lovely.
