Lyde Court Wedding Photography – Yes, yes, yes! An utterly fantastic day with Shelley and Toby at the beautifully unique Lyde Court in Herefordshire!
It was my first time shooting at this wonderful barn wedding venue situated just little bit north of Hereford. I’ve seen stacks of photos popping up on my Instagram & Facebook feeds over the years from this location; all of them tickling my photographic tastebuds so I was super excited when a message from Shelley dropped into my inbox asking if I was available!
It was actually a fairly last minute booking as Shelley initially contacted me just three months prior to the big day, which was the polar opposite of the wedding I shot the week before with a fab couple who booked me three YEARS earlier in 2016!
As you’ll see from the pics below, this awesome couple absolutely nailed the styling of the day, the main barn was decorated immaculately. They approached the day with the thought process of just having fun and that’s exactly what happened…hey, they even agreed to lie on the floor for an ‘alternative’ group shot!
It really was a perfect day…well, except for Shelley’s maid of honour, Grace, burning her hand on the smoke grenade but she took one for the team in order to get the shot!

After delivering the gallery just a few days after the wedding I receive lovely words from Shelley and Toby – “Hello Rob (king of photography!!). Oh my goodness, we are speechless!! I have laughed & cried all the happy tears! they are the most stunning photographs we have ever seen that we will cherish forever and ever.
From the moment I emailed you and received your reply I knew you were just perfect for us! You made Toby & I, the most awkward people in front of a camera look & feel so natural and at ease! I will forever be grateful for making us feel so relaxed & calm, all of our guests have commented on how fabulous you were too!
